Raja Mohan is a BE in Mechanical Engineering, a Ph.D holder in Environmental Engineering and an environmentalist at heart. Mohan, who designed and build Enviro Care India Private Ltd, is an entrepreneur who converted his love of nature into a business opportunity. Backed by his friends, he made it his mission to offer reliable services in the area of environmental impact assessment studies, and analysis of air, water, noise, sewage, effluents, sludge and soil.
Hailing from a family with an academic background, Mohan started his professional career as an Associate Professor in an engineering college. His father is an MABT and a retired teacher and his wife a BA Bed and among the directors of his company.
Enviro Care is a fast track project engineering organization with ISO 9001 – 2000 certification in the field of environmental sciences. It brings together environmental engineers, mechanical engineers, civil engineers, electrical engineers, safety engineers, scientists, chemists, biochemists, microbiologists and social scientists, Started in 1996, Enviro Care offers services in all aspects of environment studies on a commercial basis.
The company has five branches across the country with operations also in the UAE. In future, Mohan wants to take his company to a global level of operations. His present client list has over 500 companies.
Mohan’s keen interest in discovering ways of helping people from the backward castes and deprived backgrounds dominates his plans. He wants to uncover new and innovative methods to provide water treatment for the benefit of society. One dream of his will soon become reality, with the setting up of an international environmental institution at Madurai.
